Since 1983, we have been acting as agents to procure defence supplies for all branches of the Bangladesh Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy and Air Force. Whether it is NVGs, APCs, radios or satellite equipment, we have procured it all. Until recently we have spread our wings towards the Bangladesh Police, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Coast Guard Bangladesh, National Security Intelligence (NSI) and other ministries. SS Defence has been working with the home and foreign ministry along with the defence ministry since its origin.

M/S Sheela Store (SS Defence) was established in 1983 by Mr. Azizur Rahman Chowdhury, a decorated freedom fighter. He was in his last year of Law School at Dhaka University when the liberation war started in 1971. He quit his dreams of being a lawyer and joined forces with the thousands of valiant freedom fighters of Keranigonj, Dhaka (his hometown) to free and save his country. He initially started working for Morrison Knudsen during the mid 70's and early 80's as an accountant but eventually followed his dreams, quit his job and started working with them as a contractor in many daunting projects throughout Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. After he returned to Bangladesh in 1983 he started SS Defence and gradually shifted towards procuring defence supplies for the Bangladesh Armed Forces (Army, Navy and Air Force). Over the years SS Defence has spread its wings into various fields with great success.
